Contract Overview

This requirement is to provide Information Technology services and support for enhancement, maintenance, and security of the Cyber CoE G6's Network, Enterprise Level Solutions, and IT Services. 

Position General Responsibilities

  • Design and develop audio, video, and data conferencing solutions using Audio, Video, and UI components such as Crestron/AMX control systems. 
  • Install, test, and support Audio and Video control systems both onsite and remotely.
  • Engage in user system and support requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Work with the Network Architecture group to provide design and architectural recommendations as it relates to AV systems.
  • Determine equipment requirements and cost analyses for installations, ranging from simple to broad complexity. The designated CCoE G6 Government official is responsible for final approval of equipment requirements and costs. Responsible for development, setup, testing, and maintaining equipment used for videoconferencing integrated room systems and special custom projects Is responsible for the fabrication, installation, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment and systems working with internal and external partners.
  • Research and recommend purchases to maintain or increase the capacity of operations. Upgrade and configure current software and hardware already in operation.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Commercial off the Shelf software.
  • Manage schedules and performs maintenance on electronic media equipment. Research and implement procedures to reduce support overhead of AV systems Develop, organize, and maintain standard operating procedures (including regular maintenance requirements) and workflow processes and procedures for AV systems. Create and maintain system and customization documentation for testing and validation of the AV systems. Develop, publish, and maintain statistical and management reports of equipment inventory.

Position Qualifications

  • Have at least three (3) year of experience in VTC setup and configuration and VTC Engineer experience
  • Have at least three (3) years of VTC Engineering experience
  • Have knowledge of cloud and virtualization
  • Possess at least five (5) years of experience in IT desktop support, IT Service Desk support
  • Certification Requirement
    • Baseline certification: IAT II
    • Computing Environment (CE): must be current platform (or higher) IAW Army guidance (i.e migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10, Server 2008 to 2012, etc.). Currently: Crestron Certified Programmer
    • Receive IA appointment orders from Chain of Command
    • Be monitored in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS).
    • Successfully complete Information Assurance Fundamentals online course and exam at https://cs.signal.army.mil.
    • Complete the Privileged Level Access Agreement (PLAA) annually.
    • This Personnel Security Standard for this position is IT-I (Personnel in IA positions with privileged-level access to control, manage, or configure IA tools or devices, individual and networked IS and devices, and enclaves).
  • Must possess an in-depth knowledge of installation, operation, scheduling, and support of desktop and conference room VTC systems in a secure government or military environment including ISDN, Inverse Multiplexers, CODECs, and H.320/H.323 protocols.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of AV concepts such as acoustics, lighting, aspect ratios, font size versus distance, scan rates, video standards, and transmission systems.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of TEMPEST standards and IA concerns for multi-classification multimedia systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills experience are important.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products
  • Must possess the ability to read and understand system technical drawings.
  • Experience with Tandberg/Cisco systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise with AMX Control system installation.
  • Ability to install control system hardware and download control system source code.
  • Ability to troubleshoot existing source code.
  • Expertise with Audio Digital Signal Processing Equipment
  • Ability to download, troubleshoot, and create DSP configurations.
  • Ability to STIG VTCs
  • Project management skills to ensure that new installations or network upgrades do not disrupt normal work. Proven success with strategic planning, process re-engineering, and project management
