Responsibilities:
TENCAP Programmatic Systems Engineer Focused on the following tasks in the areas of Tactical and strategic SIGINT/EW, Digital Signal Processing, Radio Frequency exploitation, Cloud-Architecture, Hub-and-Spoke, Modular Open Standards Architecture and Common Framework Environments:
- Provide system and component level technical expertise on the technical capabilities and limitations of Program of Record systems.
- Oversee the validation of system engineering documentation including wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, technical manuals, and other engineering documents
- Prepare decision materials for future systems and technical modifications to existing life cycle Pre-Planned Product Improvement (P3I).
- Evaluate program requirements and provide evaluation and input to contracted vendor deliverables against those requirements.
- Evaluate program systems for capability gaps and identify emergent technology that may address those gaps to inform decision makers.
- Oversee hardware and software configuration management and change management for Program of Record Systems.
- Participate and guide user forums focused on periodic system software updates and priorities.
- Knowledgeable and experienced on the implementation of Agile and other software processes.
- Provide a depth of expertise on the architecture of the Program of Record's system of systems as a globally networked enterprise.
- Review technical proposals from others and provide detailed technical engineering feedback to the government.
- Provide technical input to Simplified Acquisition Management Plans (SAMPs) to address the program's overall acquisition approach, including systems engineering and risk management approaches for TENCAP projects
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.
TRAVEL:
- Limited or minimal travel expected.
CLEARANCE:
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline OR Associate's degree in engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline + 4 years of work experience OR 6 years of work experience

- None
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience in systems engineering activities.
